2004 Center for Information Networking Projects
We are constructing a database by continually surveying the influence of modernization on the elderly, for the purpose of researching the elderly lifestyle in a computerized society, and from which analysis from various specialized fields will be possible.
Using the online library as a basis, we are creating a fundamental school system for the gathering and sharing of useful and necessary information for educational research. We also will plan out the way the library will work and its new roles.
With the current distance learning program as our basic resource, we will create the next generation of broadband-networking distance learning education (e-Learning, etc.).
Our research project is to find the most logical way of constructing a network that is compatible with the next generation of network services (IPV6, IP Phones, broadcasting, security, etc.).
Accompanying the spread of broadband networking has been the increased usage of streaming (images and sounds). There are still many environmental and technical problems, but it is clear that the development of applied skills for hardware and software that use the network will press forward. Because of established, highly reliable broadcasting techniques, we will use a 1 Gbps experimental network line and establish a method for effectively using the line for high-precision images as well as education and research.
