Since the inauguration of a Master’s Course in Commerce in 1960, the Graduate School of Business Administration has evolved steadily. It now comprises both master’s and doctoral programs in the 3 areas of commerce, business administration and accounting, and in each field, we have produced a steady stream of highly skilled and capable researchers.
In addition to the traditional forms and aims of graduate school education, in 1998 we also started a night school offering a master’s program (Business Course) in response to the needs of those already in the workforce who want to acquire new specialist skills that will be readily applicable in real-life business.
The lectures for the day-time master’s courses and guidance for the doctoral programs take place at our Kinuta Campus in Setagawa Ward, which was rebuilt in 1998. For ease of access, the lectures for the night-time master’s course (Business Course) are held at our Shinjuku Satellite Campus on the 33rd floor of the Shinjuku Nomura building. Both campuses provide all necessary facilities for efficient research as well as a stimulating environment to meet new challenges.
